10 Best Restaurants in Town and Country, MO for 2024

What are the best restaurants in Town and Country, MO, for 2024?

Good news.

I’ve peronsally tried 21 restaurants and studied over 7,000 Google reviews to find out.

Here are the rankings as of 2024 (we’ll update every year):

1. Katie’s Pizza and Pasta

I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve eaten at Katie’s Pizza. It’s more modern Italian food, but I have several staples. Depending on my mood, I may go for the classic spaghetti and meatballs. I also love the lemon and pea strozzapreti. And then, if I really feel adventurous, I’ll go with the black spaghetti. This is a delicious dish, but extracting the clams from the shells requires some work.

I’m a big fan of their pasta dishes, but to be honest, I don’t love their pizza. I guess I’m more of a traditionalist when it comes to pizza, and most of their pizza options are modern and experimental. But many of my family members love the pizza. So it’s at least worth trying.

Also, from a non-food perspective, I’d argue that Katie’s Pizza has the most modern and unique decor in Town and Country. It’s not the fanciest spot in the city, but it is the most unique.

My only critique of Katie’s Pizza is that it’s very pricey. For example, the pita and hummus were complimentary when they first opened, but now you have to pay for them. And it’s $9 for a very basic salad (the “Insalata Mista).

But I will say this:

The prices make sense because the quality of food is very high. I highly recommend trying Katie’s Pizza. You don’t need a reservation if you go for lunch, but you’ll definitely need one for dinner. Parking is free and pretty easy. And they do offer curbside and will bring the food to your car.

2. Cleaver & Cocktail

Cleaver & Cocktail in Town and Country is a traditional American steakhouse with a modern twist. The restaurant offers a variety of steak options and seafood, poultry, and vegetarian entrees. The menu features something for everyone, and the prices are reasonable.

The restaurant’s atmosphere is casual yet refined, and the service is attentive without intrusive. So whether you’re looking for an intimate dinner for two or a night out with friends, Cleaver & Cocktail is the perfect place to go.

The menu features classic steakhouse fare such as dry-aged beef, seafood towers, and unique dishes such as Wagyu tartare and bone marrow poppers. The cocktails are creative and inventive, and the wine list is impressive. The ambiance is casual yet sophisticated, making it the perfect place for a special night out. Remember that reservations are required, so be sure to plan.

3. Napoli 2 (My Personal Favorite!)

Want amazing Italian food? Look no further than Napoli 2 in Town and Country. This family-owned restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine, including wood-fired pizzas, homemade pasta dishes, and fresh seafood. In addition, the extensive wine list features Italian and domestic wines, making it the perfect place to enjoy a romantic dinner or an evening out with friends.

And if you’re looking to impress your date, try the private dining room, which overlooks the kitchen and comes complete with its wine cellar.

Because the restaurant is only open for dinner, it’s no surprise that reservations are required. But trust us, it’s worth planning ahead.

Our only advice? Get the tiramisu for dessert. You won’t regret it.
